I thank everyone who took the time to donate to this amazing cause. I was able to gather 15 bundles of hair to donate to wig making. Loosing my brother in law has been so hard for our family but I feel pride in doing this in his honor. It is hair, it will grow back but Bryan won't come back. The money raised by myself will go towards finding a cure so that what happened to our family won't have to happen to anyone else.
Thank you so much everyone!
Very recently we lost my brother in law Bryan to complications due to throat cancer. I am going to raise money and shave my head in his memory and I have reached my goal of $1,000 and have adjusted it a bit to $1500 this cause is near and dear to my heart, please consider donating to this cause to help with cancer research so that no other family has to lose a loved one from this terrible disease.
Bryan was a volunteer fireman who went on every call and would turn around and go work his normal work day. He cared about people and animals. He was a cat dad he loved them. He would do anything for anyone who was in need. Bryan was a kind, caring and loving person who will be sadly missed forever.
Cancer affects everyone — and during times of uncertainty, cancer patients are some of the most vulnerable. That’s why I’m making a promise to do something about it and help end cancer for good.
I have joined Bald for Bucks to stand in solidarity with cancer patients everywhere. To show my support, I will be raising critically needed funds for cancer research and patient care programs at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center.
Please consider donating. No donation is too small, and every dollar adds up to something greater than any one of us could accomplish alone. Together, we can find cancer cures and save lives.

Doing what I can
You know bald for bucks has been around for a long time and my family has participated through the years but I never took that leap. As a woman my hair is something that is like our crowning glory. I have always been so proud of my family who participated but I never wanted to go through with it myself.
1/27/24 while this day is a happy day for me because it is when my son was born it has also become a day that was great sorrow. Bryan has been a part of my life since I was 19 yrs old and we all grew up together and as a family we have always been together and we all live so close to each other. Getting a call that he was in ICU and was not expected to live we all gathered at the hospital. When my sister had to make that tough decision to remove him from life support because he wasn't going to survive we were all around his bed there was close to 20 of us we stood together and we helped him to pass peacefully and not be in pain anymore. It is a day I will never forget ever.
So I decided after that and after what I witnessed and after what he went through I decided to shave my head this year and raise as much money as I can and Roswell is letting me earmark my donations for a new treatment research they are working on for head and neck cancer in Bryan's memory.
This has been the hardest loss I have experienced since my grandma back in 1987. Will always miss him and always love him. Fly high brother!
