The Empire State Ride is an overwhelming test of physical and mental toughness. The pain you go through on the ride is a biting reminder of the pain that each and every cancer patient goes through every day. I rode with a picture of my Mom on my bike in 2019. She died of breast cancer in 1978. I remember her struggles..... Her pain... and that helped me push through.
In 2020 our adventure was "reimagined", like everything else in 2020, as we held a "virtual" event. While the event was virtual the miles were real. I rode 711 miles in July 2020 to honor those that were taken from us far to soon, those that are still battling this disease and for those that fought the disease and won.
Please give generously to my ride. Funds raised are used to fund cutting edge cancer research and clinical trials.
I am honored to be part of the Empire State Ride 2021. Honored to be part of team Forever Young.
Thank you all for your support.
