Each year I participate in the Ride for Roswell, I feel this odd sense of closeness with the loved ones I've lost to cancer, as well as extra blessed to still have my loved ones who kicked cancers booty.
I am riding for my Aunt Lori who we lost in early 2023 from surgery complications to remove the tumor on her bile duct.
I am riding for my grandma who passed in 2009 from pancreatic cancer.
I am riding for my dad who was diagnosed with leukemia and has lived with it, still very much healthy, for close to 15 years.
I am riding for Said who was a new friend taken too soon by colon cancer.
I am riding for the love of my life. As a kid, he kicked leukemia's booty and I'm so happy he did.
I am riding for a cure.
I am riding to honor those fighting, those lost, and those who kicked cancers ass!
I care about making a difference in the future of cancer research and bringing an end to this devastating disease. That’s why I am participating in the 2024 Ride for Roswell!
Please help me raise critically needed funds to support the thousands of patients who turn to Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center for hope each year. Your donation provides funding that researchers need in order to investigate new treatment options that could save lives in our community and around the world. For every dollar donated, Roswell Park can leverage an additional $13 in new grant funding!
Please consider making a donation today to help find cures. Together, we can make a difference.
