Hope I'm smiling for all 550 miles!
This Sunday, I will begin to pedal the length of New York from Staten Island to Niagara Falls. The ride is to raise funds to fight cancer with donations going directly to fund research at the Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, one of NY State's largest cancer hospitals.
Everyone's life has or will be affected by cancer. I will be riding in memory of my Mom and Dad, both of whom passed away from cancer at relatively young ages. I'll be riding on a team with two friends, John and Jim. John lost his partner Julia and Jim lost his wife Lidia to cancer last year.
I hope you will consider making a donation. I've set a goal to raise $5,000. Every bit helps and I truly appreciate everyone's support.
