"T-STRONG"
The Empire State Ride is more than a bike ride for myself and my family. For a second time, this July I will cycle over 550 miles across New York State for 7 days to raise awareness and donations to put an end to cancer. Last year, with your support, I was able to raise $32,435. It was amazing to see this money already being put to use by Roswell Park Cancer Institute by the time we crossed the finish line. It was also on this ride that I made life long friends which enabled us to have a T-STRONG TEAM this year.
Many of you know that we lost my beautiful wife, Theresa, to colon cancer in February 2020 (thus the T-STRONG team). For 3 years, she fought like nobody I've ever seen, staying courageous and positive while still taking care of everyone else during her battle. This short ride doesn't compare to the fight she fought but her strength, selflessness and love for her family and friends inspires me to continue her legacy.
We all know someone whose life has been affected by cancer. This ride is my opportunity to make a difference and an impact on cancer research from the seat of my bike. Together we can fuel groundbreaking discoveries and bring an end to this terrible disease. Please consider donating to my efforts.
