On May 6th, 2014 my mom Kathy passed away after a 2 1/2 year battle with lung cancer, despite never being a smoker. When she first started treatment, her oncologist thought she only had about 6 months to live. My mom had a fight in her to be here for me and my sister and far exceeded those 6 months. This is in part due to the advancements in cancer treatment providing additional options for her to try, but unfortunately her cancer progressed quicker than the research. There have been several breakthroughs and additional treatment options that have become available in the past 10 years, but still no cure. That is why I am riding in the 2024 Ride for Roswell on June 22nd.
I need your help to raise critically needed funds to support the thousands of patients that turn to Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center each year.
Please donate to my Ride for Roswell fundraiser. For every dollar donated to cancer research, Roswell Park is now able to leverage an additional $23 from external grants towards that research.
Together – we can end cancer!
