Cancer doesn’t care. It doesn’t care about age. It doesn’t care about your family or friends. It doesn’t care about what it takes from us — or who it leaves behind.
But I care. I care about making a difference in the future of cancer research and bringing an end to this devastating disease. That’s why I am participating in the Ride for Roswell this summer!
In 2020, my sister-in-law Jessica was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma, which quickly turned into Stage 4 Triple Negative Metastatic Breast Cancer. The world stopped as we got this news, but as a family, we never gave up hope. That's why she turned to Roswell. She began her journey by participating in a Clinical Trial of Immunotherapy that went fantastic. However, the rumors that were present slowly stopped diminishing. Therefore, her treatment path changed to a blend of immunotherapy with chemotherapy in which physical changes started to take place. For her family with their 2 young girls this would be yet another challenge we would face. She then moved to double chemotherapy and has been on this treatment path ever since, and doing absolutely fantastic, all the while continuing support her husband and family. The course of her treatment is continuously changing and without donations to Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Institute, this would not be possible!!
Please help me raise critically needed funds to support the thousands of patients who turn to Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center for hope each year. Your donation provides funding that researchers need in order to investigate new treatment options that could save lives in our community and around the world. For every dollar donated, Roswell Park can leverage an additional $13 in new grant funding!
Please consider making a donation today to help find cures. Together, we can make a difference.
