We all know or have a loved one who is being treated for cancer.

In 2009, Team ANNA LYNN was founded to support Anna Lynn Williams in her fight with Leukemia. Anna Lynn had just won her battle with Leukemia. We, the created family we are, wanted to thank Roswell for what they did for us. 

Sandy D., my son’s mother, lost her battle with cancer in summer of 2016. 

 Our team has had our share of highs and lows in our extended family’s battles with cancer.

Our greatest high is watching the news to listen to our team’s namesake, 

AnnaLynn Williams, PHD., an epidemiologist, give presentations and continue her research to fight cancer.

Our team is now the primary fundraiser for the Sandra M. DeMaria Endowment for Rare Cancer Research at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. This endowment is funding research at Roswell to find a cure for Rare Cancers, especially rare Ovarian Cancers, like the one that took Sandy from us. Please be generous to our cause, Sandy would appreciate your donation.
In 2019, Dr. Anna Lynn Williams PHD, a survivor, is researching to find a cure for Cancer. It is a wonderful thing to participate in the Ride for Roswell and point to Anna Lynn and say we ride with her. This ride help save her life. The coolest thing about our team is we are lead by a survivor who is doing the research to find a cure for Cancer. 

Dr. Anna Lynn Williams PHD our namesake, is now working at the University of Rochester on Cancer Research as Part Of Roswell Park. WE are winning in the battle with Cancer.
