Cancer knows no limits. It doesn’t consider your age, if you’re a mama with young children, a wife, a colleague, or a friend — cancer can affect anyone, at anytime in their life.
I care about raising money for cancer research in Western New York — to make every prognosis more manageable; for the care and treatment of current Roswell patients, because those fighting cancer should know there is a community of support behind them; and to give each person battling cancer more time, more hope, and more strength to fight and overcome. I care about making a difference in the future of cancer research, so that our physicians and researchers in Buffalo can continue to make strides for a future without cancer.
That’s why I ride — this year, I’m riding for my dear friend, Bethany Revett. Bethany is a mama of two, a spunky three year old and a sweet one year old. Bethany bravely beat ovarian cancer and is now battling breast cancer at Roswell Park. When I think of Bethany, her strength is admirable. During her diagnosis and several months of intense treatment, never once has she complained. When talking about the course of treatment ahead, “I’m ready” are the words she would use to describe what lies ahead. Bethany, you are my hero, my friend, and someone I aspire to be more like in every way. I hope she will be ringing the bell at Roswell in the very near future.
Please help me raise critically needed funds to support the thousands of patients who turn to Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center for hope each year. Your donation provides funding researchers need right now to investigate new treatment options that could save lives. For every dollar donated, Roswell Park can leverage an additional $13 in new grant funding!
Please consider donating today. Together, we can end cancer!
