I am participating in The Ride for Roswell this summer. This is much more than a bike ride for me — it’s my commitment to the fight to end cancer. This is my 11th year riding for Roswell. Although I can't ride what I did my very first year, I am still trying to keep helping this organization out.
This year has been very hard losing a very close friend of mine, Marsha Logan, to cancer. I am riding in her memory along with the memory of my father and other close family and friends. I am also riding in honor of anther dear friend that is fighting cancer like no one I have ever seen. She has maintained a positive attitude while dealing with battle after battle. I am also riding in honor of someone very dear to my heart. She has been fighting cancer and is very brave in dealing with her treatments. I pray for everyone fighting this disease.
Please help me raise critically needed funds for cutting-edge cancer research and compassionate patient-care programs at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center. Your donation to my ride might provide the funding that the researchers at Roswell Park need in order to investigate new treatment options that can save lives. These therapies can provide cutting-edge treatment choices to patients in our own community and in cancer centers worldwide.
You can make a difference in the fight against cancer by supporting my fundraising efforts. In fact, for every dollar donated, Roswell Park can leverage an additional $13 in new grant funding!
Please consider making a donation today to help me reach my fundraising goal. Together, we can help find cancer cures and save lives. You never know when you might need the care and research for yourself or a loved one.
Please stay safe and healthy. Thank you so much for all your support. It is greatly appreciated!!!
