Friends:
In recent years I have been thinking and talking about putting my fundraising energies toward something new, different. Don't misunderstand, the war on cancer is still and will always be very much a priority. But I've been fundraising for the ride for Roswell for 13 years. That's a long time! And now that I can't actually ride in the Ride for Roswell, quite honestly it's a lot less fun.
Also, it's hard to write compelling fundraising copy each year. I kind if feel like I've come at it from about every dang angle.
So woe is me and blahblah blahdeblahblahblah.
Lots and lots and lots of people who would love to raise money and participate in the Ride can't because of cancer. These are my brothers and sisters, my family, my kith and kin. They're yours, too.
You know, when we are in community, we do for one another. We help each other out. We support our shared goals.
Let's do this together. Let's get out there together and whup cancer's ass.
Please give what you can. No contribution is too small. No contribution is too large, either, if you are going in that direction!
Thank you in so much! See you on the sidelines!
