This year will mark my 12th year of riding in the Ride for Roswell as captain of Team West Herr. As I think back on those 12 years, two things stand out to me: the continued success of the event, and the generosity of the WNY community. I believe the success of the event is a direct result of the reputation Roswell Park has established for patient care, treatment, and the pursuit of new innovative research initiatives. As for the generosity of the WNY community, that’s no secret to anyone living in WNY; our community is always ready to support a worthwhile cause. My family, friends, and business associates are perfect examples of that support. Through their generosity they have supported me, Roswell Park, and more importantly the patients, for almost a decade.
