It's that time again!
Ride for Roswell '24 is happening June 22!
Once again, I'm honored to be riding the 44 mile Canada route with several close friends and thousands of other to raise funds to find cures for cancer.
Our team, Hildy's Heroes, was organized in memory of my friend's mother, Hildegard Doody, who succumbed to breast cancer.
This is the 29th Year of the Ride for Roswell, and my 7th Year of riding to raise funds for cancer research This is a very important fundraiser for Roswell Park Cancer Center, and for every $1 raised, Roswell is able to generate $23 In research dollars!
Most of us have been affected in some way by cancer. If not ourselves or our family, most of us know someone who has been affected.
This year is even more personal for me. This year, I dedicate my RFR'24 to our niece, Kristin Shute Colburn, who is currently battling colorectal cancer. Along with being an amazing wife and mother, Kristin is a dedicated public servant, continuing to serve her LaFayette community through tough treatments. In addition, I ride in honor this year of Constance Chase, a fellow rider and friend, who is battling breast cancer with a warrior's heart. As always, I ride in memory of my father-in-law, John Shute, and my good friend, Brian Stone, both of whom lost their battles.
So, this year again, I'm asking you to consider donating to my ride to find a cure for this disease No amount is too small, and your donation is tax deductible! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
