Cancer doesn’t care. It doesn’t care about age. It doesn’t care about your family or friends. It doesn’t care about what it takes from us — or who it leaves behind.
But I care. I care about making a difference in the future of cancer research and bringing an end to this devastating disease. That’s why I am participating in the 2023 Ride for Roswell
Cancer has affected not only myself, but my family, friends, and acquaintances that I have met through volunteering at Roswell Park.
I am riding this year, not only to support those affected by Cancer, but to support financially, to help find a cure and needed research that will enable Roswell not only to save lives..... but to extend lives through innovative therapies that have emerged in the last few years.
The result of this is extended life expectancy, and survival rates for those with advanced stages of cancer.
I am not one to ask for donations for anything, and please do not feel obligated to donate, but if you feel led to do so I appreciate your help to raise critically needed funds to support the thousands of patients who turn to Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center for hope each year.
