As someone who has expereinced what cancer can do first hand within my family, I'd like to take a moment to share why I am doing this. I have always been the one to do my "community service" through participating in races/rides becasue I see what benefit even just my registration fee can bring to the cause that I'm supporting (plus I get some cool swag, a win-win). But this one always hits a little different. Because I know what this disease can do. I also believe and have seen first hand what good Roswell Park has done for those affected by cancer.
