I retired from work over 10 years ago battling of a rare blood cancer. While not curable, it was treatable.  After 18 months of chemotherapy, time and the tremendous work of the doctors, nurses and staff of Roswell Park Cancer Institute, I am now considered in semi-remission.  I am one of the lucky ones.  There are many more folks not as lucky as me.
