I’d venture to say that we all have been touched by cancer either personally or through someone we care about. Many of us have lost a loved one to the disease, but we also know those who have beat or are currently fighting cancer. My father-in-law is one such person who has been and continues to handle his cancer with both grit and grace.
The idea that these donations could help cure him, along the multitude of other strong, resilient people I know who have walked through Roswell’s doors is my ‘why’ for taking on this Ice Cycle Challenge.
I may not have the medical degrees to find a cure, but I can pedal for every penny you are willing to donate to this cause. Please help me raise these critically needed funds to support Roswell Park and its researchers whose dedication to new treatment options has personally kept my nearest and dearest alive. For every dollar you donate, Roswell can leverage an additional $13 in new grant funding.
Please consider helping me meet my $200 goal, and I promise to ride my heart out in honor of all of our loved ones who have been taken by, are battling, and have survived cancer.
