This March, I’ll be participating in Buffalo’s IceCycle to raise funds for Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center.

 Last year at this time I remember seeing this event, wishing I could join, but was in the middle of chemo and physically could not have done anything like this. I am riding this year to celebrate how far I have come in one year! I will be riding with my sister, a nurse at Roswell, who was a huge part of my treatment. I am not only riding as a personal victory, but to honor all those I’ve met along the way that have also been affected by this terrible disease.
