Hi!

My name is Cristy Orozco and as of September 2022 I'm the sole owner of SWEAT 716 (soon to be changing name due ownership change). Although the new business venture - this past September was hard though. Very hard. I lost an amazing woman that I was very close to. Her name was Ana Orozco and her birthday was actually not too long ago too on12/23. This was also the first Christmas without her.

Ana was another mother to me. I’ve known my mom in law since I was nine years old. She loved and treated me as such too.

Six years ago she was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. That was tough, but then March 2022 she was diagnosed with cancer. We were told she had 3 to 6 months to live; she had pancreatic cancer that had also spread to her intestines and liver. She made it to September 3, 2022. That was her sunset.

We were heartbroken. There was no cure, no way to beat it it’s still very unreal and we miss her very much each day. My children miss her so much, we all do. 

Within that time I bought out SWEAT 716, and bought a house. It was a crazy time! Definitely ups and downs, but more down with losing Ana.

Since then, there’s been a huge gap in my heart. @roswellpark tried to help as best they could, and hopefully one day there will be a cure for this horrible disease. Words cannot describe what she went thru and we witnessed it along the way trying to comfort the best we could.
