One out of three Americans will develop cancer sometime in their lifetime. That’s why I’m taking on a challenge to push myself to make a difference for cancer research. I’m participating in a cycling challenge outside in chilly Buffalo.
Winter in Buffalo is tough, but you know who is tougher? Cancer patients and those affected by cancer. So, I’m doing this for them. One of those patients: my mom! She is a breast cancer survivor and is one of the most resilient women I know. Roswell Park gave her the medical support she needed and gave us the emotional support by means of excellent staff! This is an opportunity to give back.
Funds raised through this event supports the expansion of cancer genetic services and research at Roswell Park.
