My Mom, My Warrior

I’m once again participating in Ice Cycle Buffalo. This year I’m riding to raise funds in honor of my mother, Colleen Sanderl.

My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer May 2021. A cancer diagnosis is frightening & life altering. As part of her cancer treatment, she underwent two surgeries , 9 rounds of chemo, 28 rounds of radiation and dozens of doctors appointments. MY MOTHER IS A WARRIOR! She’s brave and strong in ways only cancer can test. She now lives her life as a cancer survivor, but we know that title doesn’t come easy.

As thanks to all the cancer care providers & to honor MY MOM, I‘m raising funds to help support the expansion of cancer genetic services and research at Roswell Park.
