5 days till I join Maria and others at this IceCycle event at Riverworks in Buffalo NY - come check it out, two days, 14 sessions, vendors and live music - And me on a bike on the ice :-)

Update on Maria - surgery is scheduled for St Patrick's Day, seemingly a lucky day! Her tumor has not grown, or spread and has responded to the 4 rounds of Chemo - so that's all good news!
I am so humbled by the donations to date and most importantly, the reconnections of colleagues and friends from years past. Also, with the shares out, I am meeting some folks I don't even know!
Only $1200 to my goal of $5000. Ride is 10 days away and ready to hug on my sister when I get to Buffalo!

One out of three Americans will develop cancer sometime in their lifetime, and my sister Maria is one of them! She was diagnosed with Leiomyosarcoma on November 22 and I am riding by her side on March 12 at 3PM in a cycling challenge outside in chilly Buffalo. Winter in Buffalo is tough, but you know who is tougher? Cancer patients and those affected by cancer. So, I’m doing this for them.
Funds raised through this event supports the expansion of cancer genetic services and research at Roswell Park. Will you donate to my IceCycle challenge? We can make a difference together.
