One out of three Americans will develop cancer in their lifetime. In addition, 6% of women will develop stage 4 breast cancer that is not detected by routine mammograms.
To support innovative treatment and research for cancer, I’m participating in a cycling challenge outside in chilly Buffalo. Winter in Buffalo is tough, but you know who is tougher? Cancer patients and those affected by cancer.
I’m riding in honor of my mother Suzanne. She was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer. My mother has always been a fighter- a military Veteran, she continues to persevere no matter what curveballs life throws her way.
Funds raised through this event supports the expansion of cancer genetic services and research at Roswell Park. Will you donate to my IceCycle challenge? We can make a difference together.
