For a second year in a row, I’ll be participating in the Buffalo IceCycle, OUTSIDE, during the lovely winter season of Buffalo. Winter in Buffalo is tough, but you know who is tougher? Cancer patients and those affected by cancer. So, I’m doing this for them. 

Hearing the words from family, friends or colleagues "My ______ has cancer" has become all too familiar and often it seems like. Cancer isn't fair. It sucks. And I think a lot of us just want to say "F**k you Cancer!". 

I know riding a spin bike isn't going to cure this awful, horrible disease, but even if I can do the smallest part to help in some way, I'm happy and honored to do so! 

Personally, I'll be matching all donations up to $100! Funds raised through this event supports the expansion of cancer genetic services and research at Roswell Park.
