Hi guys! My name is Rachel, and welcome to My IceCycle fundraising page! For those of you who don’t know me, I am the president of Lockhouse Distilling and I am a huge advocate for both mental and physical health. This is my first year doing ice cycle, I am beyond excited to be a part of such an amazing team with Jada blitz fitness. Some of you may know that recently I did just experienced my first scare with cancer, and I was diagnosed with having some precancerous cells that I will have surgery to remove, however, I feel so fortunate that I don’t have to experience with a lot of these patients at Roswell are going through. So often we overlook what our peers are going through day today and what has easily become their new “norm”, I unfortunately have so many friends that now currently rely on Roswell for their treatments. It’s so important to me that we ensure that there is proper funding to one day end this heartbreaking disease. Any little bit helps, and those of you that have already donated you hold such a special place in my heart. I personally will be riding for my aunt Evie, who unfortunately did lose her battled breast cancer, she was not only one of my favorite aunts, but also one of my best friends.
