Winter in Buffalo is tough, but you know who is tougher? Cancer patients and those affected by cancer. That’s why I’m stepping up to show my support and change the future of cancer as we know it. 

I lost my Nanie to colon cancer nearly 17 years ago. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about her. She loved with her whole heart, she was tough, she was caring, and she was supportive. She was one of my TOP 5 people! My nanie was the glue that stuck our family together. I'm participating in this in memory of her and in honor of all others who have or who have had cancer. 

This March, I’ll be turning up the heat and challenging myself at Buffalo’s coldest cycling event of the season — all to raise critically needed funds for Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center.
