In March, I will be joining a group of amazing women and participating in the Ice Cycle. For this event, I have chosen to dedicate my ride to my sweet friend and co-worker, Janet Ossichuck. Janet is a wonderful wife, incredible mother, and patient grandmother, not to mention, the best mentor and friend I could ask for.
Between making sure our office is held together, she makes sure she has her weekly dinners with her three grandsons that live locally, she makes sure to wear her glittery sweatshirt to cheer on her granddaughter at her cheer competitions, attends her grandson’s hockey games, and supports her children, family, and friends in any way she can. She has a memory of an elephant; she never forgets. Her fashion is always on point and she rocks Lilly Pulitzer better than anyone I know. Her love for her husband John is one for the ages; truly a love story that needs to be written in a book.
Although I met Janet after she went through her breast cancer treatments, she does tell me stories from time to time about what she went through. I am so thankful for Roswell and their team of doctors, nurses and staff that helped my friend, Janet, through the tough times. I am also so thankful for fate for bringing her into my life. She makes me want to be a better person each and every day, not only in my job, but in my personal life as well.
If you have the means, please donate to such a great cause. Indoor cycling has become a true love of mine and I will make sure to kick ass and make all of you proud!
