I am riding for two people this year. My dad, who has been in remission for a number of years now, which I am so thankful. And also for one of my greatest friends, Nicole, whos life has been greatly impacted by cancer. She lost both her mom and her brother to this terrible disease.
I'm riding because I know that there has to be a cure out there somewhere. There has been cures for others diseases, why not this one. I'm blessed to be giving the opportunity to help those in need fight for something, money for research.
I’m taking on a challenge - a challenge to push myself beyond my limits in order to make a difference in the lives of cancer patients. Indoor cycling is tough. But you know who is tougher? Cancer patients. So, I am doing this for them.
