One out of three Americans will develop cancer sometime in their lifetime. I will be riding in memory of my sweet niece who passed away an August 30th 2020, of a rare form of cancer called HLH at the very young age of 23, her name is Paige Casillo. Paige was full of love & life! She loved dancing, bowling, Zumba, and she loved animals too! She is greatly missed and a cure must be found so no other family has to experience the loss my sister and her family is dealing with every day.
That’s why I’m taking on a challenge to push myself to make a difference for cancer research. I’m participating in a cycling challenge outside in chilly Buffalo. Winter in Buffalo is tough, but you know who is tougher? Cancer patients and those affected by cancer. So, I’m doing this for them.
Funds raised through this event supports the expansion of cancer genetic services and research at Roswell Park. Will you donate to my IceCycle challenge? We can make a difference together.
