I’m taking on a challenge - a challenge to push myself beyond my limits in order to make a difference in the lives of cancer patients. Indoor cycling is tough. But you know who is tougher? Cancer patients. So, I am doing this for them.
I am especially riding in honor of Donna Giannattasio, who passed March 1, 2021 after a 5 year battle with ovarian cancer. She was only 60 years old and was my father's long-time companion. We watched her fight through this disease and the endless struggles to find the right treatment. She lived longer than expected, but someday there will be a cure so that people like Donna don't have to pay the ultimate price.
Please help me raise critically needed funds to support the thousands of patients who turn to Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center for hope each year. Your donation provides funding that researchers need in order to investigate new treatment options that could save lives in our community and around the world.
