One out of three Americans will develop cancer sometime in their lifetime.
Hearing the words, you have cancer are words that I cannot even imagine hearing, but unfortunately in todays world they are heard more than they should.
That’s why I’m taking on a challenge to push myself to make a difference for cancer research. I’m participating in a cycling challenge outside in chilly Buffalo. Winter in Buffalo is tough, but you know who is tougher? Cancer patients and those affected by cancer. So, I’m doing this for them.
This is my second year being part of such a great event. I will be riding in honor of my Uncle Mike, Uncle Rick and Aunt Eileen. All who have fought or continue to fight this ugly war.
Funds raised through this event supports the expansion of cancer genetic services and research at Roswell Park. Will you donate to my IceCycle challenge? We can make a difference together.
