One out of three Americans will develop cancer sometime in their lifetime.
That’s why I’m taking on a challenge to push myself to make a difference for cancer research. I’m participating in a cycling challenge outside in chilly Buffalo with my best friends under my favorite gym, Rise Fitness Studio. Winter in Buffalo is tough, but you know who is tougher? People like my dad, who was a cancer patient and has fought it with the help of Roswell Park.
I am lucky enough to say he is another year cancer free and I will be riding in honor of him. I can’t thank Roswell Park enough. My dad is still here today because of their efforts and great work that is done everyday. The least I can do to repay them is raise some money with my friends and spin like hell to support their mission!
