I am a newcomer to the 100 holes of golf at Wanakah Country Club this year. I will be joining the Senior Relay Team for this magnificent event. For over 20 years I have been a member at Wanakah, and this could be the most inspiring round of golf I play, as the event is dedicated to helping children in our community by raising money for the Courage of Carly Fund and Live Like Luca Fund.
As a long time employee of the West Herr Automotive Group, Roswell Park Cancer Institute has been the number one beneficiary of our support, because of all the remarkable things it has done for the people of Western New York. The Courage of Carly Fund focuses on the children who come to Roswell for treatment. This fund centers around giving family support and bringing some joy into the lives of these children at this critical time.
Along with, Live Like Luca, which celebrates the life and legacy of Luca Calanni, who tragically passed away at an incredibly young age. Luca’s short life was filled with caring and kindness, so Luca’s parents established this fund to support children less fortunate to have the opportunity to participate in sports, camps, and other social activities that they otherwise couldn’t.
So, I’m hoping you can join me and help make a difference for a child and sponsor me at this event. If you could just contribute $1 for each of the 18 holes I’m walking, that would be AWESOME! If you could pass this message along to others, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank You for helping make a difference!
Sincerely,
Paul
