Join my dog Max and I this summer as we swim to end childhood cancer!
You’re probably thinking... “Alex you can’t swim.” And you my friend, are right! However, my parents’ dog Max is basically Michael Phelps. And that’s why we are taking on the Carly’s Crossing summer challenge - but we need your help!
Please join Max and I in supporting the Courage of Carly Fund at Roswell Park. For every $10 donation, Max will do a fun pool trick (swim a lap, jump into the pool, ride a pool float, etc. (I promise we will get more creative!)) and I’ll post on my IG/Facebook story all of his fun tricks and antics. Each trick will be dedicated to one of our generous donors. You might even be lucky enough to receive a special shout out from the one and only Miss P!
But this is more than a cute dog blissfully swimming in a pool. By making a donation, you will directly support local children and their families through the Courage of Carly Fund at Roswell Park. I have worked at Roswell Park for over 3&1/2 years and have seen first hand the impact that donations to the Courage of Carly Fund make. We fund everything from critical pediatric cancer research initiatives to support programs to family fun experiences at Dave and Buster’s, Build A Bear and Buffalo Sabres games, just to name a few.
This year has been hard in many ways, but cancer does not stop during a pandemic. And today, our young, immunocompromised patients are at a higher risk and the Courage of Carly Fund needs your support more now than ever.
So, join me and make a difference by supporting the Courage of Carly Fund at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, which gives every child facing cancer or a blood disorder the fighting chance they deserve.
If you are able to donate, I truly could not appreciate your generosity more. No donation is too small, and every dollar adds up to something greater than what any one of us could accomplish alone. Together, we can make an impact in this fight!
