Ride for Roswell 2020

Flamme Rouge

Hi, thanks for visiting our page! Our father, Matt, passed away last year. While the loss was sudden, his contributions to this world were not. Along with support for many other charities, one of his passions was to use his love of bike riding to raise money for the Ride for Roswell and support Roswell Park Cancer Institute.

In his honor, we formed a team of myself, his daughter Amy, his oldest son and former ride partner, Matt, his younger son, Kevin, and his daughter-in-law, Sarah. Since dad always went the extra mile for what he wanted to change-we have each pledged to ride 100 miles between August 1st and 21st to support the summer of the ride.  He saw many people touched by cancer and wanted to end it.

In his memory, Team Flamme Rouge was born. The Flamme Rouge is a red flag to signal to cyclists that they were in the final kilometer before the finish line. We want to keep his memory alive and continue to make sure all cancer patients can reach the finish line of their raise with success.

Join our team and help us reach our goal or donate to our efforts! No matter how you choose to support us, YOU are making a difference in the lives of the thousands of patients who turn to Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center for hope each year.

Your donation provides funding that researchers need to investigate new treatment options that could save lives in our community and around the world. In fact, for every dollar donated, Roswell Park can leverage an additional $13 in new grant funding!

Finding a cure for cancer is something we are all incredibly passionate about, and we are so thankful and grateful for your support. Together, we can make a difference!
