Join the team and be a part of "Susan's Army"!

We started "Susan's Army" for the 2023 Ride For Roswell as a way to support our mother's new battle at Roswell. In year one, we were able to raise over $17,000 to support the thousands of patients that turn to Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center each year. 

After losing Susan in March of 2024, we resolved to continue the fight in her honor and established the Susan G. Wood Endowment fund at Roswell Park. All team donations are directed through the endowment, which will forever support the cutting-edge research and patient quality-of-life teams at Roswell that worked tirelessly and passionately to fight for our mother, and supported our family through our darkest times, like they have for so many others in WNY. 

Money donated to Cancer research makes a real impact in all of our lives, as we've all been touched in some way by this horrific disease. Roswell Park saved Susan’s life 25 years ago. They gave us 25 years of love, laughter, and memories. They gave us holidays, graduations, and weddings. They gave her six beautiful grandchildren their Mema. That’s real. That’s measurable. That is the impact of Roswell Park and each and every one of the dollars we raise in funding. If you were fortunate enough to know Susan, you know she spent every waking hour helping others. Susan's Army will forever be focused on doing the same. 

Do you have a team and want to be an affiliate of Susan's Army? You keep your own team identity, but you can participate in our team match program, have access to the Susan's Army ride day tent, and pledge your team funds to the Susan G. Wood Endowment at Roswell.
