Melissa Reed Chudy lost her valiant battle with breast cancer October1, 2006.
She fought breast cancer, went into remission, then it came back and spread to liver, lymph nodes, brain etc. It really sucked. TECHNICALLY SHE DIDN'T LOSE, SHE TIED. But Roswell took incredibly good care of her which is why we choose to give back through this incredible community event. Our team raised $43,251 in 2021! All money raised goes into cancer research.
We have raised well over $400,000 since 2007 for this noble cause with a team of only a dozen riders.
