Ride for Roswell 2023

Trane Technologies

Thank you for visiting our Trane Technologies 2023 Ride for Roswell team page! We are so excited to be riding together to end cancer.

Last year team Trane Technologies represented by Gordon Wood and Helga Ivanova raised $1120 and rode 310 miles.  Can we can keep the tradition and raise more money each year and ride more miles?

Join our team and help us reach our goal or donate to our efforts! No matter how you choose to support us, YOU are making a difference.

There are two ways to ride: at the University at Buffalo on Saturday, June 24, or Ride Your Own Way throughout the summer.
1.
Join us at the University at Buffalo’s North Campus on Saturday, June 24, and ride one of nine routes ranging from 5 to 100 miles and multiple start times.
2. Ride Your Own Way you are in control of your Ride experience. Pick a route, a date and a location that works best for you and enjoy the ride. It can be any day, length of time or distance, on a stationary bike or on the road – it doesn’t matter! All that matters is that you ride for cancer patients. If you’re riding your own way this summer, don’t forget to submit your mileage!

Why we do it?
Ride for Roswell is one of the nation’s largest charity cycling events that brings a community of people together to celebrate cancer survivors, pay tribute to those we’ve lost and share in the passion that connects us all: finding cures for cancer.

You’re part of something incredible when you support Ride for Roswell: you’re shaping the future of cancer care. At Roswell Park, researchers and clinicians are working together to bring the newest, most innovative treatments and technologies to our patients. They’re bringing to life cancer-fighting approaches we could only dream about 10 years ago.

The Ride community is making a huge impact when it comes to raising funds for cancer research, new clinical trials and quality-of-life programs. Here’s a look at what your efforts make possible:

  • Roswell Park sees over 288,000 outpatient visits each year and has over 46,000 patients under active care.
  • Roswell Park offers more than 400 clinical trials with more than 7,000 patients enrolled in one.
  • In 2021, more than 50 Quality of Life grants were awarded to bring comfort and joy to patients. These programs included wigs, transportation, translation and financial support.
  • More than 20 donor-funded research grants were awarded last year through a peer-reviewed internal competition. These research grants could discover the next advancement in how cancer is diagnosed and treated.
  • The seed funding provided through the Ride can help Roswell Park researchers generate an additional $13 in new grant funding from outside sources to continue their research.
