Clarence's Cycling Team

Sadly, We lost my father-in-law Clarence to Lukemia on August 24th 2018. Our loss makes this event and ride so important. The loss of Clarence was immense. The reality that I have the power to support others through my efforts and contributions provides me with unwavering determination. Our loss and pain is still very severe and close to the surface. If the money raised to support cancer research helped a family avoid the pain we felt, I would ride 50 miles a day!

I am very proud to be Clarence's Son-in-law. He worked hard every day to make the people around him feel special. Clarence was the perfect example of a selfless man. He made you feel important and valuable, just by being himself. I know I am a better man, father, husband, son, and friend because of Clarence.

This year, we are doing the 30 mile River Route starting at 8:00 a.m. and I'm asking you to support our efforts with a donation, or to join us on our ride to experience the magic happening each year during this event. I am so proud and overwhelmed to be involved with the Ride for Roswell again. The work they do each day, is helping patients and families to find the strength to keep driving forward in the fight to DESTROY cancer!

Whether you choose to join our team or make a donation, YOU are making a difference in the fight against cancer. You are helping to fuel cutting-edge cancer research and compassionate patient-care programs at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Institute.

Your donation might provide the funding that the researchers at Roswell Park need to investigate new treatment options that can save lives. These therapies can provide cutting-edge treatment choices to patients in our own community and in cancer centers worldwide.

You can make a difference in the fight against cancer by supporting our fundraising efforts. In fact, for every dollar donated, Roswell Park can leverage an additional $13 in new grant funding!

Thank you for your support.
