Dear Friends and Family,
This year marks a significant milestone for me as I embark on a ride that holds deep personal meaning. For the first time, I will be participating in the Ride For Roswell, a cause that has become profoundly close to my heart.
As many of you are aware, my mother has been courageously battling stage 4 stomach cancer. Over the past months, she has faced each challenge with unwavering strength and resilience. Enduring months of chemotherapy treatments, she has shown remarkable courage and grace, wearing her smile like armor through it all.
In honor of her incredible spirit and in solidarity with all those fighting against cancer, I have set myself the challenge of riding a 44-mile stretch in the Ride For Roswell. It's a small gesture compared to the monumental battle my mother faces daily, but I hope it will serve as a symbol of my admiration and support for her and for all those touched by this disease.
I am reaching out to you all with a humble request for support. I aim to raise $750 for this cause that is so close to my heart. If you can spare even just $1 to contribute to this goal, it would mean the world to me. Every donation, no matter how small, represents a beacon of hope and solidarity in the fight against cancer.
If you'd like to learn more about my mother's journey or if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to me. Your support, whether through donation or simply by spreading the word, is deeply appreciated.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for standing with us in this important cause.
Very respectfully,
Joshua Sokolofsky
The Ride for Roswell is so important to the Western New York community. We all care about making a difference in the future of cancer research and bringing an end to this devastating disease. That is why I am riding in the 2024 Ride for Roswell on June 22.
I need your help to raise critically needed funds to support the thousands of patients that turn to Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center each year.
Please donate to my Ride for Roswell fundraiser. For every dollar donated to cancer research, Roswell Park is now able to leverage an additional $23 from external grants towards that research.
Together – we can end cancer!
