500 Miles...on a bicycle...
Yep, that is correct...a bicycle where I am the MOTOR!!!
Late in 2023, my wife Nancy had a cancer scare and a dear friend Rusty died from Cancer. Other family and friends have been affected by cancer including my sister Marolyn, niece Korryn, Kathy, Ken, friends Kitty, Paul, Salvador, and so many others. It is not only scary for them, but their families too. We have all been impacted in one way or another.
I've been doing charity bicycle rides to support Cancer Research and Hope Lodges since 2009. In that time, family and friends have helped me to raise more that $100,000 for the cause.
I'm hoping that you will you will help me continue the fight and support my efforts with a donation. Whether $1, $10, or $1000, it all helps in the fight for a cure. I recently discovered that, thanks to matching grants, each $1 donated becomes $23 for the charity. So, every dollar truly does count.
I put a lot of time and effort into training and fundraising, and each dollar, each donation, provides encouragement for me to keep moving forward. I would love if you would share my story/efforts on your social media sites and encourage others to donate. Please feel free to share this link to my donation page:

Also feel free to email the name or names of people that you would like for me to ride for. (cycling814@yahoo.com). I will place their name(s) on the cross-bar of my bike to share the trip and to remind me that the pain that I may be feeling is nothing like what they endured and well worth it.
