With two wheels, I’m going to challenge cancer!
The Empire State Ride Long Island is more than a bike ride. It is part of my commitment to work with health care organizations that are dedicated to research and patient care.
On June 8, 2024, I am cycling 62 miles to raise funds for Catholic Health Cancer Institutes and Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, both of which work toward the goal of ending cancer.
We all know someone whose life has been affected by cancer. The advances that have been made over the past few years is largely due to the funds that are raised for research and treatment. This is my opportunity to make a difference and impact cancer research from the seat of my bike. Together, we can fuel groundbreaking discoveries needed to combat this terrible disease.
Please consider donating to my efforts today. No donation is too small, and every dollar adds up to something greater than what any one of us could ever accomplish alone. We are making a difference together in the lives of those touched by cancer.
Last year, my supporters helped me exceed my fundraising goal. I am hoping you will want to do the same this year. Those who are not familiar with North Shore of Long Island, figure the ride is flat and fast. It is neither. When I am facing some of the more challenging terrain and want to head home, I remember the commitment you have made financially, and that inspires me to keep the commitment I made to ride every bit of the 62 miles!
