After committing to changing my health in May 2022 and losing 80 pounds, I was feeling fabulous! At my annual routine mammogram in December, a lump was found and two weeks later I was told I had breast cancer. WOW- life changing news.
I was healthy, never missed a mammogram or annual well visit. I was shocked, angry and overwhelmed. I called Roswell and felt immediately comforted and in the best place for me. I have been so fortunate to have Roswell to help guide me and my family during this difficult time. They are truly a comprehensive treatment center, providing a full menu of services — all in one location — for diagnosing and treating the cancer.
I am still undergoing treatment for Stage 2, triple positive breast cancer. My fight is not over yet, but having the support of the doctors and nurses at Roswell makes the road a little easier.
I want to make a difference in the future of cancer research and bringing an end to this devastating disease. That’s why I am participating in the 2023 Ride for Roswell with Team NOCO.
Please help me raise critically needed funds to support the thousands of patients who turn to Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center for hope each year.
