With two wheels, I've joined the Massapequa Park Bike Club (MPBC) team in a ride to raise much needed funds for cancer research. 

The Empire State Ride Long Island is more than a bike ride. On June 8, 2024, along with my MPBC team members, I am cycling 62 miles to raise funds for Catholic Health Cancer Institutes and Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center. 

Having lost my dad to pancreatic cancer, said goodbye to fellow cyclists who lost their battle with the disease and celebrated with others who are survivors, this is an opportunity to make a difference and impact cancer research from the seat of my bike. Together, all those participating on this ride are raising funds to fuel groundbreaking discoveries and bring an end to this terrible disease.
