The Empire State Ride Long Island is more than a bike ride. On July 23, 2022, I am cycling 62 miles to raise funds for Catholic Health Cancer Institutes and Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center to end cancer.
I am riding in memory of my Father,Paul McQuade, who passed away from Glio Blastoma, an aggressive form of Brain Cancer.
One of the most notable advances in Cancer treatment at Roswell Park and Catholic Health is a current phase 2 clinical trial to treat patients with Glio Blastoma; with the specific focus being on SurVaxM, an immunotherapy vaccine developed at Roswell Park to ensure much longer survival rates and quality of life for patients.
