Being the daughter to a two time cancer survivor is motivating and hard. Watching my dad go through his cancer as a little girl was heartbreaking. To see such a strong man almost lose his life to a faceless disease. But my dad never lost hope. Of all things he taught me to never give into fear. So he didn’t and is now a proud survivor of two different cancers!
From day one I grew up at the ride. As a toddler cheering him on with pom poms as he crossed the finish line. To a young lady high-fiving him well he rides with freedom. Now wanting to show people like him that we ride for u.
As I witnessed what these families were going through I couldn't avoid the pain I felt to see this disease take hold of so many lives. Out of all this I felt the sudden pull to help. I am riding for the first time in honor and memory of the people I and everyone have lost. In 2022, I’m making it my goal to raise $1,000 to help these patients become heros and know the feeling of victory!
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plan to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11
Together we will move the mountain that was once called cancer!
