In 2016, my best friend and uncle, Don, passed away after being diagnosed with Lymphoma and in 2021, my father and fellow ski patroller, Frank passed away after a battle with Lung Cancer. This year I am joining the National Ski Patrol Western New York Region Team and I am riding in memory of both of these men whom I loved deeply.
Cancer doesn’t discriminate. It doesn’t care about age. It doesn’t care about your family or friends. It doesn’t care about what it takes from us — or who it leaves behind.
But I care. I care about making a difference in the future of cancer research and bringing an end to this devastating disease. That’s why I am participating in the 2022 Ride for Roswell.
