For the past ten years, every summer my friend and college roommate, Jess, and her mom, Lori participate in the Ride for Roswell - and I’ve decided to join them this year!
Ride for Roswell is one of the nation’s largest charity cycling events that brings together a community of people together to celebrate cancer survivors, pay tribute to those we’ve lost and share in the passion that connects us all: finding cures for cancer.
Both Jess and Lori have been patients at Roswell and can attest to the amazing care they provide - they saved Lori’s life and she is now an 11 year breast cancer survivor!
I will cover 44 miles over the course of my ride, starting in Buffalo, crossing into Canada, and returning to the USA at Niagara Falls! I am a proud member of the Fighting Irish Fighting Cancer team, for which Lori is this year’s incredible captain!
Please consider donating anything you can to help support Roswell and all their amazing research, treatment, and patient care programs.
Thank you! Go Irish! Beat Cancer!
