Indigenous communities face some of the highest cancer burdens. You either know someone personally or know of someone that has been diagnosed with cancer. And that's why I'm participating in the 2023 Ride for Roswell. I'm riding in honor of a dear friend and coworker Nancy Washburn and in memory of my Grammy Carolyn Henry.

All funds raised will go to the Center for Indigenous Cancer Research Fund at Roswell Park. Those funds will go back into the community for outreach, programming, student opportunities etc.
