Cancer doesn’t care. It doesn’t care about age. It doesn’t care about your family or friends. It doesn’t care about what it takes from us — or who it leaves behind.
But I care. I care about making a difference in the future of cancer research and bringing an end to this devastating disease. That’s why I am participating in the 2023 Ride for Roswell and hoping you will join us!
My daughter, Alexis Sigeti, was only a few months pregnant when she was diagnosed with Cervical Cancer in February, 2021. My grandson, Paxton, was born 2 months early and spent a couple months in the NICU at Sisters while Alexis received treatment at Roswell. Through her chemo, radiation, surgeries, clinical trial, transfusions, pain and heartbreak, she always managed to wear a smile in front of her newborn son, even if it was from her hospital bed. She lost her battle in January, 2023 at age 33. I’m coordinating this ride in honor of my daughter and help to someday find a cure for this horrible disease. Please consider joining our team for my daughter’s legacy, in hopes Paxton will someday lead this pack and to raise funds for Roswell.
Please consider donating today. Together, we can end cancer!
